{"id":1399,"date":"2020-05-06T16:02:30","date_gmt":"2020-05-06T20:02:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arboxygene.com\/reglementations\/granby\/"},"modified":"2022-08-23T01:55:36","modified_gmt":"2022-08-23T05:55:36","slug":"granby","status":"publish","type":"reglementation","link":"https:\/\/arboxygene.com\/en\/reglementations\/granby\/","title":{"rendered":"Granby"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conditions for the felling of trees<\/h2>\n\n<p>The City of Granby allows the felling of trees under the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The tree is dead or damaged by fire<\/li><li>The tree is an ash tree<\/li><li>The tree is affected by a disease or infected by an insect.<\/li><li>The tree is dangerous to the safety of people or damage to property<\/li><li>The tree is harmful to the growth of other nearby trees.<\/li><li>The tree makes it impossible to carry out work authorized by the City or the Provincial or Federal Governments or their agents<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tree planting<\/h2>\n\n<p>For more information on tree planting, contact the City of Granby&#8217;s Urban Planning Department.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Permit for tree cutting<\/h2>\n\n<p>To obtain a tree cutting permit, the owner must apply for a tree cutting permit from the Permits and Inspections Division of the Planning and Land Management Department at 450-776-8260 or by email at <a href=\"mailto:spgt@granby.ca\">spgt@granby.ca<\/a>. The application for tree removal is free of charge.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tree Planting Grant<\/h2>\n\n<p>The City of Granby offers grants for tree planting.
