{"id":1395,"date":"2020-05-06T15:52:17","date_gmt":"2020-05-06T19:52:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arboxygene.com\/reglementations\/farnham\/"},"modified":"2022-08-23T01:55:36","modified_gmt":"2022-08-23T05:55:36","slug":"farnham","status":"publish","type":"reglementation","link":"https:\/\/arboxygene.com\/en\/reglementations\/farnham\/","title":{"rendered":"Farnham"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conditions for the felling of trees<\/h2>\n\n<p>The City of Farnham allows the removal of trees under the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The tree is dead or damaged<\/li><li>The tree is an ash tree<\/li><li>The tree is affected by a disease or infected by an insect.<\/li><li>The tree is dangerous to the safety of people or damage to property<\/li><li>The tree is harmful to power, cable or telephone lines according to the authorities.<\/li><li>The tree makes it impossible to carry out work authorized by the City or the Provincial or Federal Governments or their agents<\/li><li>The tree is located within 3m of a building.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p>The City of Farnham provides a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ville.farnham.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Revu-FICHE-Abattage-arbre.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">brochure<\/a> with all the details for tree cutting on their territory.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tree planting<\/h2>\n\n<p>For more information on tree planting, contact the City of Farnham&#8217;s Planning and Land Use Department at 450-293-3178.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Permit for tree cutting<\/h2>\n\n<p>To obtain a tree cutting permit, the owner must <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ville.farnham.qc.ca\/formulaires-municipaux\/\" target=\"_blank\">apply for a tree cutting permit<\/a> from the City of Farnham.
