{"id":1371,"date":"2020-05-12T13:25:47","date_gmt":"2020-05-12T17:25:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arboxygene.com\/reglementations\/saint-jean-baptiste\/"},"modified":"2022-08-15T05:18:03","modified_gmt":"2022-08-15T09:18:03","slug":"saint-jean-baptiste","status":"publish","type":"reglementation","link":"https:\/\/arboxygene.com\/en\/reglementations\/saint-jean-baptiste\/","title":{"rendered":"Saint-Jean-Baptiste"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conditions for the felling of trees<\/h2>\n\n<p>The municipality of Saint-Jean-Baptiste allows the felling of trees according to the following regulations:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The tree is dead or damaged<\/li><li>The tree is affected by a disease or infected by an insect.<\/li><li>The tree is dangerous to the safety of people or damage to property.<\/li><li>The tree must be cut down for a construction project approved by the municipality of Saint-Jean-Baptiste.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tree planting<\/h2>\n\n<p>For more information on tree planting, contact the inspection department of the municipality of Saint-Jean-Baptiste at <a href=\"mailto:inspecteur@msjb.qc.ca\">inspecteur@msjb.qc.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Permit for tree cutting<\/h2>\n\n<p>To obtain a tree cutting permit, the owner must <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msjb.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/formulaire-de-demande-de-permis-pour-abattage-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">apply for a tree cutting permit<\/a> from the municipality of Saint-Jean-Baptiste.<\/p>\n\n<p>The municipality of Saint-Jean-Baptiste requires a professional report attached to the permit application<\/p>\n\n<p>The issuance of a permit within the urbanization perimeter is $10 per tree (for a maximum of $30) while outside the urbanization perimeter, the permit is $50 for a lot larger than 5,000 m2.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tree Planting Grant<\/h2>\n\n<p>The municipality of Saint-Jean-Baptiste does not offer subsidies for tree cutting or planting.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Maintenance under the electrical wires<\/h2>\n\n<p>Contact Hydro-Quebec, before any tree maintenance (pruning, trimming or cutting down) under the 25 000VT electrical wires at the following number: 1-888-385-7252.<\/p>\n\n<p>*The following sheets are for information purposes only, the regulations on the city&#8217;s website will always take precedence over the information presented above.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Conditions for the felling of trees The municipality of Saint-Jean-Baptiste allows the felling of trees according to the following regulations: The tree is dead or damaged The tree is affected by a disease or infected by an insect.
