{"id":1353,"date":"2020-05-06T16:11:29","date_gmt":"2020-05-06T20:11:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arboxygene.com\/reglementations\/brossard\/"},"modified":"2022-08-23T01:55:36","modified_gmt":"2022-08-23T05:55:36","slug":"brossard","status":"publish","type":"reglementation","link":"https:\/\/arboxygene.com\/en\/reglementations\/brossard\/","title":{"rendered":"Brossard"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conditions for the felling of trees<\/h2>\n\n<p>The City of Brossard allows the felling of trees under the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The tree is dead or damaged by fire<\/li><li>The tree is affected by a disease or infected by an insect (a professional&#8217;s report is required to support this).<\/li><li>The tree makes it impossible to carry out work authorized by the City or the Provincial or Federal Governments or their agents<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p>Details of all accepted conditions for tree removal are <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.brossard.ca\/abattage-d&#039;arbres\" target=\"_blank\">available on their website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tree planting<\/h2>\n\n<p>For more information on tree planting, contact the City of Brossard&#8217;s Urban Planning Department.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Permit for tree cutting<\/h2>\n\n<p>To obtain a tree cutting permit, the owner must <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brossard.ca\/permis-abattage-d&#039;arbre_120\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">apply<\/a> to the City of Brossard for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brossard.ca\/permis-abattage-d&#039;arbre_120\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tree cutting permit<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Failure to comply with the tree cutting by-law is subject to a minimum fine of $600.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tree Planting Grant<\/h2>\n\n<p>The City of Brossard does not provide grants for tree removal or planting.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Maintenance under the electrical wires<\/h2>\n\n<p>Contact Hydro-Quebec, before any tree maintenance (pruning, trimming or cutting down) under the 25 000VT electrical wires at the following number: 1-888-385-7252.<\/p>\n\n<p>*The following sheets are for information purposes only, the regulations on the city&#8217;s website will always take precedence over the information presented above.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Conditions for the felling of trees The City of Brossard allows the felling of trees under the following conditions: The tree is dead or damaged by fire The tree is affected by a disease or infected by an insect (a professional&#8217;s report is required to support this).
