{"id":1333,"date":"2020-05-07T10:06:46","date_gmt":"2020-05-07T14:06:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arboxygene.com\/reglementations\/saint-constant\/"},"modified":"2022-08-23T01:55:30","modified_gmt":"2022-08-23T05:55:30","slug":"saint-constant","status":"publish","type":"reglementation","link":"https:\/\/arboxygene.com\/en\/reglementations\/saint-constant\/","title":{"rendered":"Saint-Constant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conditions for the felling of trees<\/h2>\n\n<p>The City of Saint-Constant allows the cutting of trees under the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The tree is dead or damaged<\/li><li>The tree is affected by a disease or infected by an insect.<\/li><li>The tree is dangerous to the safety of people or damage to property<\/li><li>The tree is harmful to the growth of other nearby trees.<\/li><li>The tree makes it impossible to carry out work authorized by the City or the Provincial or Federal Governments or their agents<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p>The City of Saint-Constant specifies in its by-law <a href=\"https:\/\/saint-constant.ca\/uploads\/attachments\/agrile%20du%20frene\/Reglement_disposition_relative_a_la_conservation_et_a_L_abattage_D_arbres_sur_le_territoire_de_la_Ville.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">all the conditions for the cutting of trees on their website<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tree planting<\/h2>\n\n<p>The City of Saint-Constant requires that all felled trees be replaced within six months of the issuance of the felling certificate.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Permit for tree cutting<\/h2>\n\n<p>To obtain a tree cutting permit, the property owner must <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/saint-constant.ca\/fr\/permis-en-ligne\" target=\"_blank\">apply for a tree cutting permit online<\/a> with the City of Saint-Constant.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Failure to comply with the City of Saint-Constant&#8217;s tree cutting by-law is punishable by a minimum fine of $500.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tree Planting Grant<\/h2>\n\n<p>The City of Saint-Constant does not offer grants for tree removal or planting.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Maintenance under the electrical wires<\/h2>\n\n<p>Contact Hydro-Quebec, before any tree maintenance (pruning, trimming or cutting down) under the 25 000VT electrical wires at the following number: 1-888-385-7252.<\/p>\n\n<p>*The following sheets are for information purposes only, the regulations on the city&#8217;s website will always take precedence over the information presented above.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Conditions for the felling of trees The City of Saint-Constant allows the cutting of trees under the following conditions: The tree is dead or damaged The tree is affected by a disease or infected by an insect.
