{"id":1306,"date":"2020-05-06T14:40:50","date_gmt":"2020-05-06T18:40:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arboxygene.com\/reglementations\/richelieu\/"},"modified":"2022-08-23T01:55:28","modified_gmt":"2022-08-23T05:55:28","slug":"richelieu","status":"publish","type":"reglementation","link":"https:\/\/arboxygene.com\/en\/reglementations\/richelieu\/","title":{"rendered":"Richelieu"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conditions for the felling of trees<\/h2>\n\n<p>The City of Richelieu allows the felling of trees under the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The tree is dead or damaged<\/li><li>The tree is affected by a disease or infected by an insect.<\/li><li>The tree is dangerous to the safety of people or damage to property<\/li><li>The tree is harmful to the growth of other nearby trees.<\/li><li>The tree must be cut down for a construction project approved by the City of Richelieu.<\/li><li>The tree is an aesthetic nuisance<\/li><li>Tree hinders site preparation for soil testing<\/li><li>The tree is damaged by natural causes (wind, fire, ice, other)<\/li><li>The tree will be replaced by another one<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tree planting<\/h2>\n\n<p>For more information on tree planting, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/ville.richelieu.qc.ca\/nous-joindre\/?form=urbanisme\" target=\"_blank\">contact the City of Richelieu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Permit for tree cutting<\/h2>\n\n<p>To obtain a tree cutting permit, the owner must <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/ville.richelieu.qc.ca\/nous-joindre\/?form=abattage-d-arbre\" target=\"_blank\">apply<\/a> to the City of Richelieu for a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/ville.richelieu.qc.ca\/nous-joindre\/?form=abattage-d-arbre\" target=\"_blank\">tree cutting permit<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tree Planting Grant<\/h2>\n\n<p>The City of Richelieu does not offer subsidies for tree cutting or planting.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Maintenance under the electrical wires<\/h2>\n\n<p>Contact Hydro-Quebec, before any tree maintenance (pruning, trimming or cutting down) under the 25 000VT electrical wires at the following number: 1-888-385-7252.<\/p>\n\n<p>*The following sheets are for information purposes only, the regulations on the city&#8217;s website will always take precedence over the information presented above.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Conditions for the felling of trees The City of Richelieu allows the felling of trees under the following conditions: The tree is dead or damaged The tree is affected by a disease or infected by an insect.
