The municipality of Sainte-Madeleine allows the felling of trees according to the following regulations:
The tree is dead or damaged
The tree is affected by a disease or infected by an insect.
The tree is dangerous to the safety of people or damage to property.
The tree is harmful to the growth of other trees.
The tree must be cut down for a construction project approved by the municipality of Sainte-Madeleine.

Permit for tree cutting
In order to obtain a tree cutting permit, the owner must apply to the Municipality of Sainte-Madeleine for a tree cutting permit.
Tree Planting Grant
The municipality of Sainte-Madeleine does not offer subsidies for tree cutting or planting.
