The Municipality of Saint-Joachim-de-Shefford allows the cutting of trees according to the following regulations:
The tree is dead or damaged
The tree is affected by a disease or infected by an insect.
The tree is dangerous to the safety of people or damage to property.
The tree is harmful to the growth of other trees.

Permit for tree cutting
In order to obtain a tree cutting permit, the owner must apply to the Municipality of Saint-Joachim-de-Shefford for a tree cutting permit.
Tree Planting Grant
The municipality of Saint-Joachim-de-Shefford does not offer subsidies for tree cutting or planting.
